If you want to experience gazing at the stars at night or witness a spectacular sunrise, you’ll need to spend at least one night outdoors. That said, this is my Winterial 3-person tent review!
Spending the night outdoors won’t be as comfortable as lying in your bed. However, certain gear can help protect you from harsh weather conditions. A tent is an essential item that you can use to protect yourself from rain, a chilly night and even mosquitoes.
Choosing a camping tent big enough for 3 people is more convenient because you just have to carry 1 item, although 2 or 3 people can use it. You may also want to go with the 3-person option even when there are only 2 of you if you prefer to have more spacious surroundings.

When looking for a 3-person tent, there are some factors that you should carefully consider before you make a purchasing decision. Choose one that is within your price range but still offers you many benefits. It has to be lightweight and capable of protecting you from the harsh outdoor elements. It should be easy to set up, durable and have enough space for the intended users.
While there are many 3-person options available on the market, it can still be quite difficult to decide which one to buy. Among my favorites is the Winterial 3-Person. At a glance, we can see that it is more affordable than the others but does it really perform well? Let’s find out!
Features of the Winterial 3-Person Tent
It is lightweight at only 4.4 lbs. with pack dimensions of 28.8” x 4.4” x 4.1” and open dimensions of 82” x 64” x 46”. The light weight and compact size make it easier to carry or hike with. It is an item that can accompany you through your hiking, climbing, backpacking or camping adventures.
It has two lightweight, aluminum-tipped poles that create the structure. The clips make it easy to secure the poles in position. Erecting it is a simple procedure and can be done in just a couple of minutes. The 4 metal stakes secure the tent in place and make sure that it’s not easily tipped over on a windy day.
The cover is made of a nylon fabric that makes it durable and lightweight. The rainfly-vented roof protects from light to moderate rain. The waterproofing on it helps you to easily shake away the moisture and also helps prevent the tent from easily being damaged.
Temperature and Ventilation
The rainfly roof is also lined with an inner reflective material that is useful in efficiently trapping more heat inside during the colder days. It does feel warmer inside but there is still ample ventilation. This is provided by the pop-out air vents found on the rainfly roof. The tent can also be used without attaching the rainfly roof during warmer days. It has a large mesh panel on one side that allows air to flow inside in warmer weather conditions.
The product is designed with 2 doors, each with an inner mesh layer. One of the doors can be set up as an awning, providing more covered space. The vestibule has a decent size and is large enough for a bag and maybe some cooking gear. The interior has a lantern hook where you can securely place some light.
Verdict
The Winterial 3 Person Tent is very affordable, especially if you are on a tight budget. It is somehow basic but provides everything you need. It is also made of decent materials, considering the price.
You may expect some early signs of wear and tear especially from the base because the material is thin and the purchase doesn’t include a footprint. Nevertheless, this can easily be remedied by purchasing a footprint or ground tarp separately.
Although there is some room for improvement, we would say that the Winterial 3 Person Tent is a great buy.
We highly recommend this product, especially if you’re looking for one that you can use during spring, summer, and fall. It provides effective outdoor shelter and offers enough space for 2-3 persons, maybe just 2 if you want to really be comfortable.
